Tom is a Respiratory and General Medical Trainee and is currently a simulation fellow at the SaIL Centre. He has been involved in various forms of medical education since he was a student, and began working in simulation in 2011 in his spare time.

While he continues to teach in a variety of locations and modalities he is currently working as a Research Fellow, based at King’s College London Learning Institute, exploring new ways of evaluation the impact of simulation on healthcare workers. When all is said and done however, teaching is the name of the game for him and so he still does regular debrief sessions as one of us in the SaIL centre.

He has also commenced an MA in Clinical Education at KCL and in what remains of his spare time he plays field hockey in goal, enjoys live music, summer night city entertainment and tries to find new excuses to wear his Lederhosen in the Waterloo area.
